Wigan Athletic welcome Lancashire rivals Preston North End to the DW on Saturday afternoon as the two meet for just the third time since 2005.
Whilst the two aren’t the fiercest of rivals, both sides will be looking to take all three points in what could be a very open affair.
Wigan manager Warren Joyce, who made over 150 appearances for Preston, has the advantage of the home crowd in Saturday’s game as they look for consecutive wins.
Whereas the Preston fans are sure to play their part as they recently sold out their allocation, and their supporters will all be given Simon Grayson masks in honour of the manager’s four-year anniversary with the club.
North End will be looking to claim their third consecutive win and there are many players in their ranks that could play a big part.
